Trustpilot is a third-party review service that can replace the default Lightspeed review system and add widgets on your header top bar, footer and add product reviews to the product page. Additionally, there is a review module you can place on your home page. Click here for more information on this.
You can place a small Trustpilot widget in your top bar. Just make sure you pick one that fits the limited space. I recommend one of the micro widgets. To enable it, follow the instructions below.
In the footer, you can also place a Trustbox widget. It will be displayed under the text content. To enable it, follow the instructions below
- In Trustpilot Business > Showcase > Website widgets, browse the TrustBox library and select a TrustBox.
- Once you’ve chosen a TrustBox widget, click the Learn More button and configure your widget.
- Under Implement your TrustBox, click the Get Code button. In the code, copy ONLY the content of the opening
<div ...>tag that you would put in the HTML. You do not need to enter the script tag. For example, in this example, you would only copy the part in Bold (we’re limited to 250 characters so we can’t copy/paste it all):
<!-- TrustBox widget - Carousel --> <div class="trustpilot-widget" data-locale="en-GB" data-template-id="53aa8912dec7e10d38f59f36" data-businessunit-id="5d939c3927c72000018bc4b1" data-style-height="130px" data-style-width="100%" data-theme="light" data-stars="1,2,3,4,5"> <a href="https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/brunott.nl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trustpilot</a> </div> <!-- End TrustBox widget -->
