Product extra information tabs

You can add extra information cards to your individual products that can help you transmit additional messages. You can add these tabs on all the products, such as shipping or warranty information, or on specific products, such as a size guide or installation instructions.

To add extra information tabs, you first need to create a text page with the content of the tab you wish to add. You can create a text page the following ways:

  1. Visit Content > Pages > Add new and add the title and content. You will then need to note the page URL slugs (the part after your domain name). The URL slug should contain service/ at first. For example: service/warranty.

    ⚠️ You can only create a maximum of 10 extra pages this way so if you need more, I suggest you use the next method.
  2. Visit Products > Categories > Add new. Then add the title, content and make sure to mark the Category as a Text page. There is no Category text page limit. You will then need to note the page URL slugs (the part after your domain name). When you use product categories the URL slug DOES NOT contain /service. For example: warranty

Extra information tabs on all products

Once the page you wish to add as extra information tab on all products has been created, go to Design > Edit theme > Page: Product details > Extra information tabs and type in a comma-separated list of page URL slugs you with to use as information tabs. For example: service/warranty, service/installation

If you added extra information tabs on all products, but wish to hide them on a specific product, you can type in hide in the data 03 field of the product’s custom template data. Click here if you want to enable the custom template data fields.

Extra information tabs on specific products

Once the pages you wish to add as extra information tabs on specific products have been created, visit the product editing screen and type in the data 03 field of the product’s custom template data a comma-separated list of page URL slugs you with to use as information tabs. For example: size-guide, washing-instructions
